Guidelines for Visitors
Opening Hours
The Castle is opened to visitors yearly – every day, all the year.
Planning of Visitis
The free-access area and the ticket window, where the schedule of each tour is posted, opens…
The availability of tours is determined by the administration of the Castle based on the conditions and safety considerations for visitors.
Guided tours take place when groups have a minimum number of people, including non-paying children of up to 6 years. The maximum number of visitors in each guided tour is limited by safety measures and the capacity of the Castle.
Guided tours can be arranged for individuals and small groups. These must be booked in advance by telephone, email or in written to notify the Castle administration for the exact date and time when the tour should také place. If groups do not arrive at the ticket window at least 15 minutes before their tour is scheduled to begin, they lose their tour reservation.
Admission prices
Visitors pay in advance for the guided tour at the ticket window.
After paying admission, visitors (or their group leaders) receive tickets marked with the exact starting time of their tour.
The admission ticket expires if the visitor is not present at the arranged time for the beginning of the guided tour. Paid tickets cannot be returned or exchanged.
Visitors must show their tickets at the beginning of the tour, keep them for the duration of the tour, and be prepared to show them again if requested.
For group visits of children under 6 years of age (pre-school groups, nature school outings, etc.), the adult admission fee will be charged for each child according to the current price list.
Admission rules
Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who will take responsibility for the child’s behavior and adherence to visiting rules during the tour.
In case of injury to a visitor, the responsibility of the Castle administration will be determined by the relevant public laws and regulations.
