Zbiroh Castle is located just 7 km from the D5 motorway (EXIT 41 Zbiroh / Cerhovice). A car park is available directly within the castle grounds. The parking fee during July and August is 50 CZK/day. In June and September, parking is only charged at weekends.
Access to the Zbiroh Castle grounds is also possible by helicopter. Landing at our heliport must be arranged in advance. Contact: Linda Paulová, call: +420 602 199 050
ACoaches bringing guests directly to the castle must use a separate access road, as the main gate is not wide enough for large vehicles. You can download the map with the designated coach route here.
Your journey starts at Prague Main Railway Station (Praha hl. n.), where trains regularly depart for Kařez. Alternatively, you can also board the train at the Prague-Smíchov railway station.
The Kařez railway station is located 4 km from Zbiroh. Some train connections are linked to local buses, which take around 7 minutes to reach the town. We recommend getting off at the "U Slunce" stop – from there, it’s about a 1 km walk to the castle.
